Coping Through COVID-19
I’m not sure anyone could have predicted how things in our lives might have changed since the beginning of the year. The events and occurrences of 2020 have knocked many off their center, and that’s assuming we were there to begin with.
It’s pushed our lives and relationships to extremes. It’s making us ask questions like why am I feeling scared? Why am I feeling so tired? Why am I feeling more impatient? Why am I questioning my strength? Why am I thinking of pivoting and changing careers? Why am I questioning what I want for my future?
This sense of uncertainty has been hanging on a lot longer than we’d all imagined. And it seems we’re in it for the long haul as things don’t appear to be changing much anytime soon.
Between COVID-19, our political and racial unrest and how worn out we all are with not being able to just hug one another, well, it’s unsettling. Even the impact of children going back to school and the upcoming election and holidays may be enough to put some over the edge.
We may not yet be able to hug everyone safely in person, but we do have the opportunity to connect more intentionally and deeply with others. A sense of connection and belonging is paramount today, and it’s more important than ever.
During these changing and challenging times, if you are in need of connection, I invite you to be part of this supportive series of thoughtful conversations.
Join us in our intimate, interactive and experiential 6-week small group exploration into what we believe, how we are conditioned to react based on those beliefs and how we can use that awareness to help move us forward.
I welcome the opportunity to support you along your journey and to learn to cope and grow in the company of others.
